  About This Game

Data centers have become the world's largest water users. Both cooling and power generation consume a large amount of water. According to research, for every 20-50 replies generated, ChatGPT consumes 500 mL of water. A 1 GW data center consumes 22,500,000 L of water per year; a 15 GW center consumes per day the annual water use of 3 hospitals or 2 golf courses. The high water consumption has caused water crises worldwide.

This game aims to explore the environmental impacts of digital infrastructure and, more importantly, how they shift the livelihoods of people muted by the seemingly ideal image of development.
